Designed in 1953, Charles and Ray Eames used the shape of the famous Fibreglass Chair for their new DKW chair. For the seat-shell they used a steel wire mesh. Wide meshing makes the Wire Chair light and transparent producing the impression of a three-dimensional metallic drawing. Slimline leather cushions add even more comfort. Our products are reproduced to the style of the original design.
